| Bailey’s American Grille was opened in April 2007 in Seabrook, Texas. The third establishment in a line of Bailey’s Family Restaurants that includes Sudie’s Seafood House in League City, Texas, and Sudie’s Catfish House in Pasadena, Texas, Bailey’s American Grille was a departure from the delicious fried catfish that made Sudie’s famous.
Self-confessed “foodies,” owners Brad Bailey and his wife, Julie, were always looking for the next great meal. The duo dined at several places, but were never quite satisfied by their experiences. The Baileys wanted to create something in between casual and white-tablecloth restaurants—a delicious meal without all of the “hoopla.” Their quest led them to developing the Bailey’s restaurant concept, which encompasses all the things that make a dining experience memorable—an exceptional menu, an inviting atmosphere and extraordinary service.
One of the characteristics that Bailey’s takes pride in most is its commitment to being local. From produce to seafood and meats, Bailey’s buys only fresh local products to create the delicious food on its menu. Bailey’s is also very involved in local organizations and events that help to improve the community.
What began as an inspiration to open a modern alternative to Sudie’s, where contemporary American cuisine could be served in a comfortable, chic atmosphere, has now become a beloved local establishment with wonderful food and a big heart.
